As part of the development of its activities, PEPPER WORLD is looking for a Logistics Supervisor – Shipping Area to join its team and oversee shipping operations, ensuring smooth coordination, compliance with quality standards, and efficient management of the shipping area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise shipping operations in coordination with transporters.
- Organize and manage the shipping area to ensure efficient product flow.
- Coordinate with the different departments, including Packing, Sales, and Shipping.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and handling procedures.
- Supervise and lead the team, including forklift operators and shipping agents.
- Manage export documentation and ensure proper traceability of shipments.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2 or Bac+3) in Logistics, Transport, Industrial Management, or an equivalent field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in shipping or logistics, including hands-on team supervision, preferably in a fruit and vegetable packing station or the agri-food industry.
- Good knowledge of storage, handling, and loading practices for fresh produce.
- Strong organizational skills, responsiveness, anticipation, leadership, and the ability to manage unexpected situations under pressure.
